About 9 months ago, I gave up on trying to lose weight. I was at the same weight as I am now. But I was frustrated because I had restricted my foods in order to lose the weight. I was exercising to the point of exhaustion and seeing very little improvement. Now is a different story. I am confident that I can continue my journey with freedom and not restrictions. I realize now that my love for food is not the problem. My hate for food is the problem. The food didn’t make me gain weight and feel tired. I made me gain weight and feel tired. I didn’t have control. I still have a long way to go, and I am still working on my relationship with food. But now I eat the foods I enjoy. I just have to fit them in my way of eating by focusing on foods that fuel my body and only eating junk occasionally and in small portions so that I don’t overdo it and feel sick and tired again. This is a major emotional milestone for me! NSV success 😍
