Well, my weight is still up a little from my pre-Disney weigh in, but not as bad as it was. I did a couple of interviews for an assistant today, but I don't think I've found the right person yet. I'll just have to keep searching! I also got my SIL a job at my office, so it will be nice having her around. She starts the Monday after Memorial day.

The weather man says it's supposed to be triple digits for the next few days, so I'll have to get my workouts in early, so I don't melt away! The good thing about this type of weather is that I don't feel like eating heavy foods. For breakfast today, I made a strawberry banana smoothie with LF milk. The banana was sweet enough that I didn't need to add any extra sugar. Lunch consisted of baked Tilapia with a ginger soy sauce, and lots of veggies. I did have a little white rice, but not too much. I had a chicken and rice burrito for dinner, so I did very well as far a points are concerned.

I think I need to totally give up refined flour and white rice. I had both in my burrito for dinner, and my stomach is not happy. I just need to get back into eating whole grains, like I know I should.

Oh, and the pic is of Me and my Hubby at Disneyland earlier this week. I'm 5'11, so you can really see how TALL he is here! Imagine how tall our kids will be!

Yay! for the weight going in the right direction! I guess finding an assistant is similar to the finding your prince charming - the part about having to kiss a lot of frogs (minus the kissing part!). Triple digits? Wow. We've had nice weather but nothing to compare to that. Not sure I'd want it, either! Yikes! I tend to melt into a limp puddle in weather like that.... but now with the weight loss, I'm thinking that will be better :) You food intake sounded good today (and tasty!). Even if the white rice and flour didn't upset your tummy, they are worth giving up just for their lack of nutrients. Hope your tummy feels better soon!

Vaca gains are to be expected and most often water weight, so guzzle the water and flush it out! You can do it! Holy cow, triple digits would be meltin' it off of me, that's for sure! Keep on kickin' it and yes get back to the whole grains, too! :)
