Since Friday's low weight of 150, I have put on 2 pounds AGAIN. THIS TIME I have had a terrible stomach ache from raw and cooked veggies and put myself on a 2 day diet of all carbs, white potatoe, white cooked cereal, puddings; all things to calm down my IBS. So it worked and now I am back to following my SB phase 1, but without too many salads or veggies; at least for a few days until I feel 100%. It's like torture when I get stomach spasms......just spasms, but that is enough. I MUST SEE MYSELF AT 149 BEFORE LONG-between cheating, plateauing and tummy aches, I am slow in getting there but won't give up! FS won't let me. I have seen too much success here, some people taking longer thn others-that will be me but I WILL GET THERE! Thanks FS buddies!

A lot of raw vegetables does something similar to me. Especially raw broccoli or cauliflower. I think it really depends on the specific foods so I would examine that carefully. Raw foods and salads are *great* for losing weight, I once lost sixty pounds on a raw food diet and never felt better. Good luck Susie!

when the ibs acts up...i eat the little oyster crackers...they seem to absorb the acids better...i drink a little sprite...good luck and as your body adjusts the attacks will become less and less

Oh boy, yes I can agree to the tummy troubles of raw veggies, too. =S I sure HATE the tummy troubles! Glad you have it under control. Back up in that saddle again! :)
