Ever since I moved to the little town where I am now my weight has gone up! Where I lived previously whenever I needed to go anywhere I had to walk up hill or down hill, here it's totally flat, and the local supermarket (the only one) is 10 minutes walk away with the high street about the same distance in the opposite direction. I am walking to my allotment but that's only 20 minutes and not every day, so I'm looking to walk around the area for about an hour when i have time and not get lost! A hotel in the town has a gym but it will cost £12 per week to use and having a new hip means I can't use all the equipment so that's not worth it. As a last resort I will be returning to Slimming World this week, but won't be able to go to the same meeting every week because I have other meetings on the same night once a month, the in-between meetings are in a town about 5 miles away, but I'll have to rely on a very irregular bus service-wish me luck with this one.
