I completed my 60 hour fast. I think that I became slightly dehydrated towards the end. My blood glucose was tested at 67 and my LDL cholesterol was through the roof 301. I had a blood pressure of 130/60. I will have to get a better test of my blood at a later date to follow up with less impact from fasting. Today was biometric screening at work, and their tests were done with a finger prick by the local clinic. I want to find more technical analysis. Perhaps I will get a blood draw from the hospital.
I am curious what other people's experience with fasting, Ketogenic diet, and blood cholesterol levels have been. It is my understanding that low carb diet a will elevate cholesterol and so will fasting and dehydration. What are your experiences?
