starting a 48hour water fast right now. anyone wana partner up???

Shereen hahaha I guess the support is better than nothing. I'll take that. Its actually easy. When you feel hungry pump yourself with water and always remember to up your electrolytes (magnesium,potassium and sodium). You'll never feel weak or shaky. That's the trick😉. Talk in 48hours 😋

Cindy - Intermittent fasting is a great way to drop kg's and get into ketosis. It also has great health benefits. Google for more information. Very interesting.

I don't recommend fasting, I've been studying metabolism for about 3 years, fasting slows it down. let's put it in perspective. YOU feed your body every 2 hours right, now your body realises after 2 hours you will receive food, so that is the program and then it needs to break it down at a faster rate knowing it's coming. If you fast, your body is wondering when it's next meal is going to take place and your body stores it. But when you decide to start eating every 3-4 hours, introduce your meals slowly else you will blow up and pick up massive amounts of weight. I'm currently bulking and I'm on a 12% body fat and keeping it there.

Fatty. I disagree to heaven and back ... if you constantly fast, for example if you eat one meal a day for some longer time, your metabolism will slow down, it means that your body got more efficient at processing food and needs less of it. But before it happens you probably would already lose the weight you needed to lose anyways. A single 48 hour fast even if its every 2 weeks wouldn't change your metabolism rate and could be beneficial to your health.

If you fast for 48 hours once a year. Sure why not. If it's a continuous thing then no.
