6 lbs right off the bat was encouraging, but after almost 2 weeks of averaging 1200 calories and fewer than 50 carbs, I've lost nothing more. I know there is something more to it. Haven't seen the doc in a while and my heart is doing weird things. Could just be stress/anxiety, but if the heart is an issue, it could be why I'm not losing now. We won't discuss alcohol intake- apparently I'm still in denial over that. but the calories are low! I think it's time to refill the Xanax.

just offering a friendly view...perhaps caloric intake is set too low....up a bit for a few weeks and continue to eat drink smart and exercise. your body may be trying to hold on because it may be in shock thinking your starving... just providing thought to help break a plateau or get your system to losing again....

I agree with Wright at the beginning of my journey after a few months I had to up my calories.
