Yesterday my boss let me know there was carrot cake in the other room and to go get some. I declined politley and stayed out of there as much as possible. Today a coworker tells me there is birthday cake in there. I politely decline (she knew I would she knows what Im doing), but told another coworker who told everyone in her department that I'm on a diet and losing weight. I really wish she hadn't done that. I am afraid that if I fall off, they will all know. I don't like that much pressure. One of the girls even called me to ask what I was doing. I told her, but felt embarrassed telling her. I don't mind if certain people know, but I don't think everyone in the office needs to be concerned over what Mavis is eating. I'm not doing it for these guys,

I'm doing it for myself and my family, specifically my son. I want him to be proud of me and not be ashamed. I want to be able to take him to an amusement park and me not worry wether or not I can fit into the ride. I want to be able to go to the movies and not worry if my ass will fit into the seat without a fight. I want to be able to go into a store and buy regular size clothings. I don't mind if I never get smaller than a 14. but I want to be able to buy XL and not 3X!!!

I was thinking back today and I remember being 15 and rail thin. I mean toothpick skinny. At one point my parents thought I had an eating disorder because of how thin I was. I also remember being about 17 or 18 and not really having a shape to my body. I remember being 19 and having curves. I could have shed a few pound then, but nothing compared to now. I didn't like having curves. I thought it meant I was fat. I just want my curves back!!
