Went for my body scan today which I was looking forward to after killing myself this past month and also looking forward to the monthly reflection and analysis. The only good news I got was that I lost 8.5kg of weight over the last month. Now everything else was not too good. I lost 2kg of muscle (Very Bad), and lost 6.5kg of fat (good). My metabolism rate has gone down from 2032kcal to 1973kcal and Visceral Fat level still over 20. Reflecting back this past month, from today no more intermittent fasting it is counterproductive for me in all ways. The most I will look at doing is 30 mins fasted cardio. Also I am cutting all long stints in the Gym to 45mins max. I will be tweaking my diet as I cannot afford another such result muscle-loss wise. I do know that I probably lost 1kg of muscle doing the 30km hilly bike ride 2 weeks ago but still I think my habits attributed to the other 1kg muscle loss. Will soldier on as always. Also my body maybe getting used to Keto-diet so I might add some complex carbs such as sweet potato, cabbage, corn just to ramp up that metabolism and reduce cortisol. I think I was too much into the caloric deficit not enough rest on gym days but I will do more work on all this.
