Doing well this week! I've resolved that I can't just exercise to lose weight I must think of it in a different way, I must be ACTIVE and think of ways to incorporate different physical activity into my regular day, not just as an 'exercise routine'.
This week I've played baseball with the kids, and biked with the kids on top of my workouts. It's helped me reframe the idea of what being active is all about, outside basic exercise time.
I've done great eating, too. Last weekeend's wedding and trip to the zoo I really biffed. Being home more this week has been a huge help. I hope to really make some good progress before our schedule gets turned upside down again in mid May. When our next big busy week comes about in May, where we're on vacation, I hope to be active enough to appreciate the momentum of my positive changes and remember that enjoying the food or being careless with my intake just isn't worth undoing my fitness and weight loss progress.
