Last night hubby decided it was time to celebrate (couldn't tell me what for though -- maybe just eating out?) Anyway, he made a surprise reservation at a pasta buffet. It was not a bad buffet set up; I managed to stay away from the pasta and bread. They had lots of raw vegetables and seafood, which they cook right in front of you, so I could watch what they were putting into my meal and make sure it only had the stuff I specified.
Unfortunately, on the table with prepared meals, they had salmon. I really had to think about helping myself to that one. It smelled super-delicious but had an unknown aioli sauce on it. I usually stay away from sauces, but I couldn't resist the smell of that fresh salmon!
I would have been 236 but I gained 2 pounds from last night. It'll probably be off tomorrow because I walked 6 miles today following my husband, who has dementia, to help him with handling his first day on his mobility scooter. Turns out that he cannot drive a scooter either :(
The good thing is that I'm still down from my last weight! So I'm not upset about the pasta buffet -- but I told hubby "don't ever book that again!" (Hopefully he will remember)
