I have been doing the intermittent fasting and I guess it's put my body into self-preservation mode as now I gained 2 lbs. According to one book, perhaps it could be that the body is trying to adjust...but my calorie intake has surely gone down and even did some walking and weights this week too....Hmmmm, will hang in there and give this a fair shot as, after all, there are many other benefits to fasting besides weight loss. Hope you all are doing good. Have a happy Labor Day--no laboring!!!!

I only do IF for sleep quality, and overall energy even-ness. Seems like it could be counterproductive in some cases, if used for weight loss. Leanne at healthfulpursuit dot com has modifications on IF/IE that make sense to me. -- I'm not trying to discourage fasting or any variation on it! :-)
