Had a good day at the gym yesterday, and getting ready to head there again shortly. I'm feeling so much better now that I'm moving around again.

Also, managed to get my FitBit synced with FS -- so this ought to be interesting. Yesterday I managed to walk 11,560 steps which added up to 4.8 miles. Not too bad. Hope I'm able to keep this momentum going into the new year. I just wish I was able to log in additional strength training, but that seems to be overwritten by FB.

The amount your fitbit says you burned also includes the strength training doesn't it? or do you not wear it then? I thought it calculated ALL burned...I am a fitbit novice so got me to wondering....

I've got an FB Alta. It will recognize walking, running, elliptical, biking and aerobics. Unfortunately it doesn't pick up any strength training - except perhaps any arm movements as steps.

I was given mine used, no instructions and had no idea they only recognize some activity. Or the difference between models. Thanks for the heads up!

carol, go to Fitmess. it will sync FS to Fitbit and fitbit to FS...
