Enjoying the festive season. I had ice-cream yesterday my arch nemesis. After that I felt I had to go to the Gym and went even though that was not in my plans. I was happy I ate the ice-cream because if one has to change habits one has to be able to know what to eat and the quantities and brain has to activate and recognise poor food choices, effects and take action. Back on a strict diet from 2 January 2017 but I will be eating quite a fair bit more calories and healthier food choices concentrating on quality from Feb 8. I am not a fan of fasting diets, everyone that I have seen on this forum doing a fasting diet has not achieved their goals. I think one needs to go to the basics. The body needs food otherwise it adapts to operating with less food (lowering of metabolism) which is bad that is why I am trying to get my body to lose weight whilst consuming 2300 cal +. If I can achieve that then life becomes easier but it is a journey.
