Yay, I lost!! I suppose I should have more confidence each week. I keep track of my calories and I know I'm not doing too bad there. Yet, that scale still intimidates me. I'm going to start working on changing that, I don't want to be afraid of the scale, but instead see it as a challenge and mostly as something that helps me. I'm going to try at least to do this.

I've got a lot of studying to do today and I have a Bible Study meeting tonight and my house is still a mess, so I'm going to say good day to you all and I hope you all have a FANTASTIC week!!

7 Things I'm Grateful For:

1. Friends - Tonight my Bible Study starts up again after winter break and I'm excited to see my friends again. Although we keep in touch when we are meeting, during the holidays everyone is so busy we just don't get to connect much. Praise God for group studies.

2. Rob Hensser - He is the author of "Divine Obsession" a book that revolutionized the way I see my relationship with God. I'm going through it for the second time and it's still blowing my mind.

3. Clothes too big - I have a pair of jeans I now have to retire. It's a GREAT feeling when that happens. These will be the third pair of pants I've had to retire since starting this weightloss journey. It is so much fun to see clothes get too big instead of too small.

4. Floppy eared dogs - I have two dogs, and one with this adorable floppy ears. He's a mini-doxie and is so adorable. He's probably the most unique dog I've ever met, his personality is hilarious and he's so interesting to look at. But I love his ears. The are so cute and I'm always playing with them. It makes me happy.

5. Colors - I realized a few weeks ago that I'd gotten myself into a drab state where I was wearing white or cream all the time. It isn't that I don't like white, it's that my wardrobe should reflect me. Apparently I was in a bit of a blah mood when I didn't want to show all the beautiful colors in the spectrum to the world. Thank you God for the color spectrum and all that we can enjoy of it. I got myself out of my clothes fun by wearing a lime green shirt and suddenly every color I have in my closet has to be represented during the week. Boy I'm weird.

6. Walks - Now that the weather is getting nicer, I've been taking the dogs our for walks. Although when I take then at the same time, they drive me crazy, it is still so nice to get out and enjoy the world around me.

7. Faith - "Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see." Hebrew 11:1

Good Job on the loss, it's suprising how much tracking helps :) Keep it up, and enjoy your week... Don't be afraid of the scale, just let it know who's boss!
