I had a blast teaching Zumba Gold for the first time! The ladies I taught were really great; kind, and forgiving of my nervousness and mistakes. It became easier each time I taught. I didn't want it to end, but I'm happy to go back to my regular Zumba classes, dancing for the joy of it. Preparing to teach is hard work!

I'm already planning my next move; volunteering to teach Chair Zumba to the people at my stepmom's senior community. That should be easier on my body, too.

It's hard to gain weight. It's no fun to lose control of my eating. I still make healthy choices, but eat too much. I have given in to emotional eating. I don't want to talk about the election, except to say that it hit me very hard. I'm afraid, for one thing, that their may be cuts in my healthcare that would make it impossible for me to afford the medication that keeps my MS from flaring up.

I trained so hard for my first time substitute teaching Zumba Gold that I wore my body out. I'm sore and tired, and tweaked my hip and am having to make a slow comeback. I'm doing physical therapy exercises, taking it easy at Zumba when I go to a class. Sigh. I'll get my mojo back.

Thanks for being here for each other. It's nice to know I can always come here and be with friends.

Thank you, RiverRes. We went to a presentation about The Emotion Code, and found it very helpful. We each plan on making an appointment with the licensed practitioner who gave the presentation. Release some trapped emotions, and make room for positive energy.
