Feeling like complete crap today. Had this feeling in the back of my throat for the past week as well as congestion, woke up this morning with a throat infection and completely stuffed sinuses... which explains why I felt like I didn't get much sleep last night (I went to bed early too...). I'd normally make a lemon chicken soup at times like this but I don't have any chicken, so I'll make yogurt soup instead. Hope everyone elses day has started out a lot better!

Hi, sore throat is the worst, hope you get better. Just had a quick look at what you ate in the past week. I think you may want to look at dropping your carbohydrate intake. If you are going to do that I suggest eat normally for a week to reactivate your metabolism. After a week drop your carbohydrate intake to less than half of what you are having now but do not skip meals. You can increase your protein intake. All the best

Thanks eightpac, I haven't been planning out my meals and just having udon pretty much every day, except today. I will start planning my meals as you suggested and try to stay on the RDI of everything. Going to have a good think about what to cook next week. I did notice the fish balls are really high in sodium. Thinking maybe I should replace them with chicken? And maybe having udon for 1 meal, lentils for another and still thinking about the other 2. I have to admit thought that trying to get 4 meals in will be a mission as sometimes I forget to even have 3 meals. But I fell off the wagon last fri-mon so trying to watch what I'm eating this week. Also started using my elliptical today. Could only last a couple mins because I haven't exercised for over a year... so I barely even have a fitness level atm. I'm going to try and do as much as I can every couple of hours though and have been thinking about finding a women's gym to join if there's one nearby.
