Whatever, stupid scale. Guess my body just doesn't want to drop to my goal weight yet. I've calculated 1600k for maintenance so I have been keeping my calories around 1100-1300 for weight loss. Following strict LCHF, drinking at least 64oz (more like 80 oz) of water a day, started 30-40 minutes of strength training almost daily. Just gonna keep on keeping on. I've only been at this a month so I guess I just need to be patient and practice what I preach...LOL. Happy (Taco) Tuesday everyone!

Phil... I haven't had a drink since last Thursday night!! I swear!! and I was at a jazz festival over the weekend so it was not easy to abstain LOL And yup.. those are cheddar cheese shells... perfection, right?? :)

Thanks knuckles.. I'm trying to be chill about it. No way I'm am building muscles that fast though, right?... so it is probably just water. Just gonna stick to my plan.

Calorie counting is a flawed science, consider this. From whatever you eat, you only get ~93% of Carbs, 70% of Protein, and 98% of Fat Calories, the rest is used in heat conversion. Of the calories you do get to use, what's to say your gut microbes are in tip-top shape to be able to break down and utilize all of the calories that are incoming? Now, assume you adjust your manual calculations to account for thermal loss, and that you have great gut microbes chompin' away at everything very efficiently, just because you give your body "x" amount of calories less does not mean it will now make up the difference in fat. At times, it will, other times it will just shut-down other cell repair functions.

Funny Laura, I didn't even notice that those are cheese tacos. I have never seen those. You are warming me up for Taco Tuesday at Del Taco. lol I still haven't done my 22 pushups today, so I'd better psych myself up for that. I hope your diet, and workouts go well for you. Have a great day!

Don't sweat it! Keep on as you said. Never thought of making taco shells out of cheese. I'll have to try that one.

Are you LCHF? Those LCHF tacos made me drool!! Have you tried Keto Peanut Butter Cup fat bombs? Perfection! Also the Peanut Butter Cheesecake fat bomb is yummm. IDK if you've tried ruled.me website for LCHF. It's a great site full of yummy LCHF recipes. They print out good too. Just type in ruled.me into address bar, should take you there.

Dollbaby, just Google Cheddar Cheese Tacos and you will find several different recipes, some made in the microwave and some in the regular oven.
