Well, I have really been fighting the scale. I was up again and now thankfully at least am back to 139. I am having a good workout week in this week so far. I am getting in gear for an upcoming mini sprint triathlon in Feb so I did weights, biked and ran at the gym yesterday. I ran 2 miles on my treadmill this morning and I will hit the gym this afternoon with my friend too. I am trying to focus on getting my speed up and will keep doing so the next few months. I think I did 4.63 miles on the bike when I did this triathlon last Feb. which is 3.24 min/ mile. I could barely reach 4 miles in the same time yesterday giving it all I had to give. It's always good to have goals and it pushes me to push harder. I have a couple of months to train still so I will keep trying to improve my times and whittle off these extra 5 lbs that can't help either!

I may be going cross country skiing this weekend with some friends. I have a friend who is also very active and had a little bike club on Sat. mornings this summer. That is when I did my long runs so I didn't bike then with them, but it's this same group. We need a little more snow to do it but I have heard it is a very challenging workout. Should be great! Hope you all are ready for Christmas and have a blessed holiday.
