Well, this feels good. I know I was up near 280 after Thanksgiving, and close to Christmas, so to be down closer to 270, that is a great feeling. This week was nice. I ate better, drank more water, and I feel better. Let's hope this downward trend keeps going.
Something new about myself. I landed a new second job. Second jobs are tough, but this one makes it easier on me and my family. I only work on the weekend with this, so there are no days off for me, but it helps my family out in the end and that is all that really matters. Hopefully I will only have to be in this position for another year or so. But for now, it's no days off for me for a while. I get all of my evenings free to spend with my family, where with my other job I only had one evening and Saturday. I get to see more of my wife and kid this way, so that is all that really matters.
The wife and I are looking into joining Planet Fitness in the near future. We used to belong to LA Fitness. I liked them. Mainly because they had a pool and raquetball courts. But the price was just way to high because we elected for the use of personal trainers. PF may not have a pool or raquetball courts, but we are going to use the gym to its fullest potential. With the use of their FREE trainers hopefully I can get a workout routine that would work for 3 to 4 days a week. We are intimidated when it comes to working out, mainly because we don't really know what we are doing. But once we get a routine down, it will become a lot easier.
