Geez, Christmas period made LCHF take a tumble. Early on I futilely tried to stick to low carb but there were a couple of occasions when mysteriously a few too many carbs in liquid form made a whooshing noise as they went past the 50g/day speed limit. I decided that HCHF wasn't a good idea, so I backed off on the fat. Back on the horse for a few days now and back in mild ketosis again. I had a couple of pieces of someone's home made vanilla slice on NYE and have only just managed to unstick my tongue from the roof of my mouth. It was euphoric at the time but after a couple of weeks of no sugar or starchy carbs I will be back to indifference about sweet foods.
