why am I gaining I'm eating 700 calories a day wtf

Some things come to mind. 1. The calorie numbers are wrong 2. The scale is not calibrated. 3. Weigh in time not consistent 4. Body might need a specific diet maybe calories counted is not for you. That's all I can think of.

Also weight gain can come from stiff not related to food. If you are still not seeing results on 700 calls Best person so speak to is your doctor.

700 calories is not healthy at all the minimum is 1200 calories a day for just your body to function properly. you can gain wait from not eating enough food. please do proper research and eat 1200 calories mumimum just for daily function.

700 calories is way too low, your body isn't getting enough energy. Up your intake to a minimum of 1200 calories per day and change your diet slightly to give your metabolism a kick in the butt.

Might be "water weight" if your having too much salt from processed foods. But, like the other comments say- 700 is too low! Aim for 1200 from unprocessed whole foods.

I have the same problem just can't lose the weight. Eating 1000 cals average per day !

calorie cycling/zig zagging helps. some days eat higher calories other days eat lower calories. it helps by breaking weight loss platues.

Your day to day weight is pointless - use a mirror to judge, not the scales. That is far too little to have a healthy diet, and your body will end up burning muscle along with your fats just to keep your body running

menstrual cycles cause the scales to be unkind for a short time but then the extra weight just goes away once that period of the cycle is over. I agree though, as a registered nurse, that 700 calories a day is unhealthy and is unsustainable for a health body. Is your perception of how you look meeting how others perceive you? if it is I encourage you're journey and hope you do well. if the vast majority around you like friends and family perceive you differently from your perceptions, you may need to reflect on that and ask why.
