This is me hitting the re-set button. I’ve realised I’ve been waiting for work to calm down and for life to feel more in control so I could have more energy to focus on my eating and getting some exercise, kind of a “now I’m ready to get to a healthy weight”, only it’s not going to happen because that is life.
So I am consciously restarting my focus on healthy eating. I’ve told my partner for some external accountability, and I’m taking today to work out an eating plan. What makes it tricky is my kids are very picky eaters (the one has autism and the other sensory issues), so I think I’ll probably need to prepare my own meals separately to theirs. Additional work, but I need to approach my weight loss journey differently to really make a difference.
