I have type 2. My Dr said 70-120 before food and below 140 after 2 hours is a good range. Maybe cut back on carbs? That has helped me. I don’t eat more than 140g carbs per day. Normally, I range from 80-100g daily. And I don’t snack in between meals. That allows my insulin levels to go back down. I wait 3-4 hours in between meals.

in the last two months I've been intermittent fasting. To many it's an extreme way to lose weight since most people can't go a day without eating but I've been able to. I've even stopped drinking coffee after years, decades of drinking it and now just tea and liquid on my fasting days. When I do break my fast I would OMAD and that would be at a calorie deficit as well. My A1C has dropped below 6 and my doctor has taken me off Jardiance.
