I really ate well over the summer. gained over 20lbs. I feel ashamed. 🤣

Please don’t feel ashamed. I assume by eating well you mean you were eating healthier, cleaner, unprocessed food. Yet I think it’s common to eat healthier food—and still overeat and gain weight. This happened to me, too. It took me a long time to understand that unless one tracks calories, overeating is not solved by just dietary improvements. Or even by not eating at all on some days (at least for me). For me, it was solved by three super-regular healthy meals a day whose caloric content added up to a number that, combined with regular activity, put me in a caloric deficit. A different system might work for you, but you need one. The fact that you’re here in FS means you’re on the right track😀
