So I tried not doing any processed foods yesterday..and boy last night was rough. I tried to do ONE day of lower carb yesterday, and this morning I was nauseous, trembling, clammy, my heartrate was 130 bpm, hungry, and nervous. Ive never had symptoms of hypoglycemia before! So, I feel better now after eating a bagel, apple, and 3 oreos...still a little jittery though.

So today, Im going to "do" maintenance Atkins without oatmeal/pasta...basically just fruit/veges/meat/cheese/nuts. NO PROCESSED FOODS!

If you are still breastfeeding your body most likely needs the carbs and that is why you felt so bad. Listen to what your body is telling you and just try to not overeat. When you are done breastfeeding then you should be able to go back to low carb without the hypoglycemia.
