whew. I'm back in the game!

I no longer have the money for a CGM, so am using Fatsecret to log my carbs as I consume or prepare them, and it seems to be working!

I am losing weight again, as I stay around 20 carbs a day. No hunger, no obsessing over food, it's 11:34am and I haven't even thought about food yet, because I am not hungry. Slow-burning fuel is the way to go.

I got my bloods back yesterday.

My HBA1C was 50. That's an HBA1C% of around 7, well down from my previous HBA1c's of 93, then about 85, etc.

My cholesterol is up, over 8, they want to put me on statins. Which is not going to happen. When you find out how statins work you realise they're bullshit, scuse my franzosich. I have negotiated another 3 months to control my statins by diet, I've told them I'll eat 'low fat' fat. monounsaturated oils, etc etc but that ain't gonna happen. No. This next 3 mths I will choose as saturated fats as I cna manage, but maintain rigor on my sugars, and see if my cholesterol levels go down. I'm pretty sure I can negotiate another 3 mths after that.

I think what has been happneing is that my organs have been too glycated to work very well. I'm showing a low thyroid activity as well.

If I'm hurting my organs they should slowly repair without the free oxidising sugars in the blood. Sometimes a gel has to manage up.

If I'm wrong I'll review my scientific enquiry and consider another option. But it won't be statins. Firetruck that for a laugh.
