Taking a slower exercise day today, got in 4.5 miles and two weight sessions yesterday. I know this weight loss process is a journey and I can see the new me emerging, but I want to be there now. I know in the end, I will have to have lift surgery, and both looking forward to it and apprehensive about it. Apprehensive because I am in recovery (23 years) and lift surgery is major surgery and will require pain management assistance (my addiction doesn't know the difference between medically necessary and using). I will have to be extra vigilant and have someone to be accountable to during the initial healing. Everything is pointing to Aug/Sept to reach my final goal of 185 lbs, although if my muscle mass builds fast enough I may go with 205 lbs and lose the remainder in the lift surgery (My panniculus aka belly flap is already significant from the weight loss so far and will only become more pronounced). Also, I was able to easily get into 42"x30" jeans yesterday and they looked pretty good on me.
