Called in sick to work today. Have had a lovely time. A leisurely walk after the sun had risen, a bit of gardening and grocery shopping , cleaned the car and even started cleaning out my shed and put together a shelving unit for it. Will splurge on steak and veggies for tea as I have a blood donation next week. I have over 10 weeks of sick leave owing as I usually drag myself in regardless, so do I feel guilty? absolutely not! Will I do it again? Hell yeah 😃
