So far I’ve been all talk. The only food watching I’m doing is as I’m piling it on my plate. I’m so disappointed in myself. There are always excuses, 2 dinners this week and 2 work functions where food is provided. I can’t do this half hearted, good one day, cakes the next, then Wine to drown my sorrows. I still need to lose at least 5 kgs by Xmas, really I’d like 7, my clothes are tight and uncomfortable. So tonight I’m making a list of keto dishes for the next 2 weeks. Hoping for rapid loss in the first 2 weeks so that I can stick to a more balanced diet over summer.

Be kind to yourself. change is hard, and life doesn't always accommodate our plans and intentions. Keep trying we all have our challenges and moments of doubt. We are all too hard on ourselves. Pick a small, easy change as a starting point. I think we try to make extreme changes, then get down on ourseleves when they are not sustainable. You can do this 💚

Definitely don’t be down on yourself- it doesn’t help just makes u feel defeated !
This is my trick for rapid weight loss, it may not suit you but happy to share if it helps:
make a big veggie and bone broth slow cook soup 3-5hours. No potatoes or pasta or carbs. only veggies and bones a bit of meat from the bones - lots of flavours like spices, salt, garlic and herbs. It has hardly any calories. Eat with virgin olive oil, nothing else, only eat this soup every second day for 2-3 weeks. On the alternate day, your meals day, do very low carb diet plan. Stick you your 1500 per day calories on the meals day. You can lose about 4-5 kilos in 2-3 weeks like this. It’s not unhealthy, they do this diet for rapid weight loss before surgery.
Plus get a long walk in -up and down hills -or if you near a beach walk on the dry sand for 20 mins you will burn a lot of calories!
It’s a way to start if u want some fast results at the beginning xx

Thanks Mallory! I am sticking to under 1000 calories a day and so far that hasn’t been too hard, plus it means I can have lunch with people at work without them knowing I am dieting. Although I think a few worked that out when I refused birthday cake today! Ill definitely give the bone broth a try, I’m only on day 3 so we will see how I go.
