I haven’t started weight training just yet. I want to reach my initial goal weight of 125 before toning. Until then, I’m continuing yin and restorative yoga 2x/week each. If my body feels ready, I’ll add in some mat Pilates to my weekly wellness program, followed by hiit intervals once per week until I feel comfortable increasing it further. I’m very happy with the results that intermittent fasting and calorie/carbohydrates restrictions have produced! 40 pounds over the last year… hopefully gone for good. 😃

Exercise is the one thing that should be done slowly and with caution to avoid injury and setting you back a week or more. Yoga and Pilates will use your body weight as resistance and you can always do planks, push-ups and dips at home.
