Well, I'm going through Zumba withdrawal, lol! Thank goodness my partner is doing well. First shower & bandage removal this morning, and the incision looks really good. There's a very impressive blood pool under the skin below the incision that looks like a really wild tattoo, ha ha.

I saw my physical therapist yesterday, and she was able to help relieve some of MY pain. I've done a LOT of physical stuff these past few days. The morning after surgery, my partner fell on the bathroom floor between the toilet and tub, luckily not hitting the incision. I found out I cannot dead lift someone who weighs more than me, though my automatic response was to try. Silly me! Of course, my partner was able to log-roll to hands and knees & carefully get up from there.

I ran to the gym today to get some beans that one of my Zumba friends cooked to help my partner heal. I took her some fresh pear muffins & double chocolate zucchini bread that I'd baked so she could share them with her husband.

I could have gone to Zumba, but there was a substitute that I just really don't like (rare for me). She changed into a boot-camp instructor instead of a joyous Zumba instructor, so after giving her 5 chances, I decided not to go when she's teaching.

I'll be going to both Pilates and Zumba tomorrow if all goes well, and I should feel a lot better after that.

I've been cooking good food as well as baking healthy goodies. Chicken noodle soup with whole wheat noodles, farmer's casserole, ground turkey breast burgers, whole wheat honey flax bread, etc.

I picked up an iced venti nonfat latte on the way home, so I'm ready to get the million things done that need doing today, before my partner's daughter gets here. Clean sheets on bed in spare room, check. Clean towels for her, check. Vacuuming, check. Kitchen clean, sort of. ;)
