Give it time! When you start an new exercise plan, your muscles can retain water to help them heal. They get little tears in the muscle fiber and retain water. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, smaller than usual loss or no loss. It will go away. You may notice your clothes becoming more loose more quickly because of the exercise (fat/inches lost). The scale will eventually catch up with what you are doing. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest, the more easy losing becomes (hence why men lose faster) the more easy maintaining becomes. Google "why the scale lies" for insight.

Thanks everyone for the support! I decided to pull out the tape measure that I planned on measuring once a month and do a quick measurement 2 weeks early and I have lost a couple of inches on the thighs and hips. So that makes me feel better that I am at least changing my body for the better. As for the carb I've never considered counting them. I just been trying to stay under the calorie mark of 1900 and plus I think I might miss carbs too much lol

it takes months to gain muscle, what may be happening is that your muscles are holding water which happens often when you start a work out program or work out harder than usual....keep it up, you will see progress soon!!!
