Lowest weight I've ever recorded here.

I've only been recording "new lows" over the past few years. I often haven't reported weight gains, which at times have been significant, but over the past 4 years, I've been on a very, very slow downward trajectory (with no daily weight gain fluctuations more than 2-3 pounds). I'm finally figuring this out. If I stay on the path I'm on, I will never have those crazy highs again, and I say this with great confidence.

My "goal" here is 164 (I think), because when I was a kid struggling with my weight, I begged God to help me, and promised that I would even take 164 as "normal," if only He'd help me get there. (I've been in that range, and even a bit lower, only twice in my life. It's been quite a ride.)

My high point (December of 2011, I think), before discovering low carb/keto 10 years ago, was 245. In 2018, when things began to fall together for me, I weighed 222. Today I'm at 175. I'm quite confident I'll eventually get to 164! Maybe even lower. (The "BMI" charts would have my goal at 153, but who knows?) I don't torture myself anymore with "plans" to lose x amount of weight in x amount of time--I used to think 2 pounds a week was reasonable, and I'd mark up my calendar (and starve myself) accordingly! (Haha, my first bank card passcode was "125N" because I "planned" to weigh 125 lbs by November of that year. I was probably 17 or so at the time.) So much disappointment. I'm not actually aiming for a specific weight anymore--I'm aiming to be free of anxiety about food and weight, and to put food in its proper perspective. I'm willing to accept whatever setpoint I eventually land on. It really doesn't matter.
