Although I usually wait a few days in-between weigh-ins, I was so suprised by my loss from the beginning of the week that I tried her out again today just to be sure. Yep, it's true, and down another 0.6 from yesterday....awesome!! So excited!!! I had been on a plateau FOREVER it seemed, this is so encouraging!!!
So, my parents are in town this weekend. My mother stresses me out so badly, thank goodness they have a few other things planned so I'm not on edge the whole time. Already planning on just having salads (with grilled chicken and no cheese, mind you) when we go out to eat, it's just easier than guessing how many calories are in what. Also, taking a few healthy snacks along so I don't have any metabolism plunges if we aren't able to stick to my normal routine. I don't know about the working out though, might just have to stick with the 30 minute home exercises, hopefully I can sneak in some time to walk/run...we'll see.
Update on this girl in my challenge, she texted me last night that her family was going to Pizza Hut for dinner (smart decision right?) and she just didn't know how she could stick to the food plan. My goodness girl.....I just don't understand, the biggest complainer about being overweight, you give them the tools (which obviously work because I've lost 6 lbs using them), they don't use those tools, and then still complain about being overweight. I just can't do it for her, she HAS to do it for herself. I gave her 4 options last night: one piece of normal pizza, 2 pieces of gluten free, a personal pan thin veggie pizza with light cheese, or unlimited salad bar. All she sent back was that none of that would fill her up. ARRRRRRR! Then eat a whole pizza and remain overweight because obviously you don't want to take the steps to change. I guess it's true there are some people you just can't help. Sad for her...
BUT on a happier note, IT'S FRIDAAAAAAAAAY! My annoying coworker is off today, I'm all by myself so I'm cranking the tunes and busting out some choco-analysis and then bring on the sunshine....er, rain unfortunately lol. I hope you all have an AMAZING weekend!! :)
