Surreal! I keep thinking my scale is messing with me; got on and off that puppy a few times today...but my belt is done up on the third hole, while a short while ago it was done up on the first. I love the combination of Zumba, Pilates, eating right, and keeping busy!
Today I get a haircut, get my new drivers license (and picture...and weight!), fill my gas tank, shop at a few places, watch World Cup Soccer, etc. Make a pot of Pork Hominy White Bean Chili...
I put together a pot of the chili a couple days ago, but my crockpot didn't work on high. Since I didn't realize it until the partially cooked pork, beans, and veggies had been sitting there for hours, it had to be tossed. I just pulled more pork out of the freezer, took more cans of hominy, white beans, and tomatoes out of the pantry, as well as the spices. Sigh.
I made a nice blueberry and cherry oatmeal bake (lower sodium) for my partner's mom, and have half the pan here to enjoy. Had some for breakfast, with nonfat cottage cheese with fresh strawberries. I do love to eat well!
I'd better go fill the gas tank first, before running around, so I'll say goodbye for now.
