It's slowly creeping off. I start vacation this Saturday. We will be driving to Ohio for a wedding. We are all looking forward to it. I'm not worried about eating on the road. The problem will be once we get there.

I decided to change my image with my kiddos. They look nothing like me. I am "olive" skinned with black hair and brown eyes. When my kids were babies, they both were blonde with blue eyes. On outings people used to ask me if I was the baby sitter. At first it used to upset me, but then I decided to ignore them.

I told my mother about my dilema and she laughed. My mom has black hair, very fair skin with green eyes. She told me that when she would pick me up from school the teachers would ask for the letter from my parents allowing her to pick me up. It all comes full circle.

My kids do tan well. We refer to them as the "Coppertone Babies". When my daughter wins Miss Haiwian Tropics she better include me in her thank you speech.

I was pretty long winded, I hope everyone is doing great.
