Tried hard and did stick to the keto diet but where other members of the family lost 5 bloody kilos I didn't get close. Oh well, I didn't exercise so will try to get busy and exercise this week and start EFT. Need to find the will to live and some motivation along with it.

Sometimes it takes a lot more time for some people. Keto is good when you stay on it for a while. I'd give any change in diet and/or exercise at least 12 weeks, before tweaking and giving the new change another 12 weeks. Some of us (especially if we've been yo-yo dieting) will need a while to let our bodies and metabolism heal. Also, do make sure you're eating what your body needs. It's NOT as simple as calories in and calories out. There is so much more nuance to how our metabolism works. The other thing that I found useful is Dr. Jack Kruse's Leptin Reset process that he's detailed on his blog. The book "The Keto Reset Diet" by Mark Sisson and Brad Kearns. Is really good too. Hope these help along with EFT and Chris Duncan's book 'You're not Broken ". All useful pieces of the larger puzzle. Hope these help. Stay strong. It's a marathon, not a sprint. All the best.
