Never like this usually but I am in full carnivore mode today. I had a 12” meatball sub last night (I only *meant* to eat half of it - Hah! That didn’t work out,) and despite the calorie overload, felt hungry all night and woke up with a carbohydrate hangover this morning! … Gotta go. On the hunt for bacon, eggs, and beans. 😁 My brunch today.

Oh that sounds yummy. Havent had either Baked beans & eggs, or a meatball sub for awhile. A lil envious. ;)

It *was* yummy - which is why I didn’t stop at half a sub. 🙁 But at quite all a cost! 700 kcal over my daily target and over double the sodium. (Not even going to talk a about the carbs.) Imagine what the scale might have read if I had eaten sensibly instead!

I’m not so sure it *was* worth it! I felt bloated from the sheer volume of food and the carb overload kept me awake feeling hungry…even after my pig-out. Note to self - only buy a half-sub (if that’s all I “intend” to eat. *Great piece of self-deception going on right there.)

Seen the term or refferrence to carb hangover a few times on here. Didnt even know that was a thing. One day I guess I will find out first hand.
