If you know what restaurant you will be eating at, look up the menu on-line, if possible. Most restaurants have menus on their websites, and even some will have calorie/nutrition information. Go ahead and make your choice before you get there, and don't even open the menu, or temptation may take control.
This is what I try to do every time I know that I will be eating out at a restaurant, so I don't even open the menu at the table. This way my decision is made when I'm not hungry, and fall to temptation.
You can do it. Listen two pound is a small gain, so stay focused, and you will be losing those two pounds before you know it.
