My weight is up- I have doing reasonably well with more good days than bad. IA have been doing a lot more excercise and weight training-body pump,muscle madness, zumba , inerval treadmill,etc . I have to eat less and more fruit and vegs. I love cooking and being in kitchen with my family-the 2 older kids are 18 and 14 and sometimes they are in kitchen later than the 2 little onesand I do not need to be in kitchen after 830-too tempting. If I could get some 5-10 pounds off I know I could stay motivated- I may have to join weight watchers-but AI really want to keep journaling and writing my food down so ZI can do this my self. I hope to do better- I am going to do better.

Your weight is most likely up because of muscle edema. Your muscles retain water to help them heal. With all that exercise, you will retain water till your muscles get used to all that exercise. It can show on the scale as a temporary gain. It will go away. Take your measurements. We all focus on the number on the scale so much that we forget about losing fat/inches. My friend went down 4 sizes and didn't see the scale move for months. I would rather weigh 150 and be a size 4 than weigh 140 and be a size 6 or 8.
