Hang in there Roxy you will get through it. We all go through it. Stay focused, look for new foods or go back into your diary and look at the meals you ate when you loosing weight. One day at a time. Each day is a blessing and so are you!

If you are serious about gaining control over your weight you might seek the help of a dietician. I applaud your perseverance, and I get the be kind, be gentle, take your time philosophy but I bet you could make better progress than 40 or so pounds in 14 years if you were to seek out some help. You can do this but you have to get serious about it and understand the potential consequences of not moving forward.

An over 5 lb weight gain in 2 days is water weight. It's impossible to have gained that, in true weight, without consuming 15,000 calories in those 2 days (a pound is 3,000 calories). Try only weighing yourself only once a week, or else you'll drive yourself nuts. Don't be so hard on yourself and give yourself some grace. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
