been dieting for nearly 2 weeks now, first week was ace and I was losing weight and I could see it but the second week I have just stopped. diet remains the same but no more weight loss, I didn't think it would plateau this soon!

Don't worry Meggs, just keep on making good choices and you WILL get there. I am aiming for 133lbs as well and am older with a thyroid problem. I hill walk for 6 hours a week and am on 1,250 cals a day, healthy eating, no added sugar or sweeteners eating plan, with no food banned and am losing between 1 - 2 per week. As of today I am 156lbs...so we're on a similar path. Stick with it, were in it for the long haul...the good, the bad and the ugly! (Thinking Vicar of Dibley, Dawn French waking up in the morning after a chocolate binge with the chocolate wrappers still stuck to her face🤣). We can encourage each other as there will always be ups and downs x

Thanks! I've recently gone from being at home with my toddler, running around after my toddler should I say... to going back to work where I'm sat down most of the day so I'm thinking this is what has impacted it. I've never really followed a diet plan before but it's going great as its realistic, dont feel hungry or tempted to binge. I was just so motivated by my weight loss in the first week and then it just completely stopped (until my weigh this morning) I know I shouldn't weigh every day but I cant stop myself 🤦🏻‍♀️ Good luck to you too! We are very similar size and goals, lets do this 💪

Absolutely!💪👍. Sounds as though there is a big change in your daily activity...sitting for long periods makes things tricky certainly, but not impossible. My diet is realistic too. I started in January at over 190lbs and have not had one day where I have come off my healthy eating plan, or felt as though I have wanted to. I am a pescatarian so I eat lots of lentils, beans, chickpeas, eggs, dairy, olive fish and no sugar or anything artificial. Cook from scratch too. I have all these weird and wacky experimental recipes for treats, but without sugar (and often flour). It takes up a heck of a lot of my time every week, but it's working! Sorry to ramble🙊 x

I weigh once a week...i don't know about you, but I have a tendency to become obsessive, so I am trying to stop that before it begins! Weight fluctuates so much on a day to day basis and once a week gives a more realistic picture of progress. I'm Claire by the way.🙋‍♀️

First bit of weight u drop os water. The miscle and fat moulding tskes alot longer but u are training ur miscle memory. Its worth it

👋 I'm the same claire, and your totally right. I do know this so I'v told tell myself I wont weigh for atleast afew days but I get excited to see if there is any change. Let's see what next week holds

Well I am sending lots of positive vibes your way for the next week. What Mikki says makes a lot of sense. It is the glycogen the body gets rid off in the first couple of weeks. I was pretty static to begin with and then I started really dropping a few weeks in. Good luck and keep going...after all this is a change for life x👍🤞😁
