I had appointment at the wound care doctor today and my infection is gone in my leg and the wounds are healing. Not soon enough. I am really over this after 3 years. It has been a busy week with three doctor visits and time for friends we haven't seen in a year. We stopped at a true Mexican grocery and restaurant and got tacos and burritos to go. They were so big we had them for lunch and dinner. I guess tacos are the go to food for stress. I am so over going to the doctor every week. I cannot wait until we are over all this stuff. Thanks for listening.

That would be hard to go to the doctor every week. How much longer til you don't have to go so much. I've been going to get an allergy shot once a month for the past 7 or 8 years and am so tired of that. I skipped last month's shot and am way overdue. But now they'll make me come more often to work back up to the full strength of the shot. I tried quitting once for a year but the allergies got so bad I had to start over again. Can't imagine having to go every week. Sounds like things are going well if the infection is gone and wounds are healing. Sounds like it was/is pretty serious.

I will have to go to the wound care doctor every week until my wounds are totally healed. I have had terrible ulcers on my legs for 3 years and skin grafts. I only have one small wound with two dots that are leaking. Once they stop leaking and the doctor gives me the okay, then she sings the song of goodbye on her ukulele with all the nurses and I stop going. The bad thing is, if they start leaking again it's start over time. I just started over again after two weeks off. I have an infection inside the leg so that is a big deal to get that stopped. That is just life for me. Thank you everyone for your encouragement.
