It's probably been asked a million times... is it ok to exercise on a fast day? I'm doing 30 min jog/walking & 30 brisk walking (all with my dog!) (I'm doing 5:2 combined with slimming world)

Yes, it is absolutely fine to exercise on a fast day, it can do a lot of good for your muscles in maintaining and even improving them. The Body is not stupid, it will scavenge junk cells and protein rather than muscles, especially if those muscles are being used!
