Today I couldn't wake up in time. It's been going on a lot lately. I know why. I just refused to admit it to myself. Gluten. Gluten is my mortal enemy. I know I need to give it up but my will power sucks. I know I feel better, I lose weight daily when I don't eat it, I sleep better, I could go on and on. I need to change my though process. Instead of giving it up forever and beating myself up for eating it. I'm going to try this.... I'm going to give up gluten for today. Just today. I'll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. I'm going to slow down and give myself every mini win I can. Wish me luck!!

Something that helped me understand, the way my body reacts to certain foods, is the elimination diet. I always had stomach problems and came across this diet (while I was watching my calories) that eliminates 7 food groups from your diet for 3 short weeks. Then you add these food groups back into your diet 1 at a time and you see the way your body reacts to these foods. It was a real eye opener for me. I found out that certain foods I thought were bothering me actually weren't and foods I thought I was ok with were the real culprit. After all of this I still eat all my favorite foods, with a few omissions, but I've never felt better and it was really easy to do. For more info on the 7 food groups look up J.J. Virgin, she has a video about this. It shouldn't be hard to find. Good luck!

treat it as an allergy...it attacks your body in a bad way...I don't eat that because I'm allergic...makes me feel horrible...talk to yourself and listen, your body is telling you
