This is why I hate the holidays when it comes to the diet. There has been zero focus and its just been all about entertaining and eating. Cookies, cakes, breads, all sorts of holiday treats. Now I am at 220.3 and I feel like I am back sliding. I have gained almost 7 pounds since the beginning of the month. My scale says I have gained muscle but I know its because I have been eating very poorly. I will be watching what I eat from now on but this has become discouraging. In an effort to make sure that I follow my previous tenets, I will do the following:

1) I will not ignore my daily weigh-ins.
2) I will not eat after 7pm.
3) I will ignore wheat based products.
4) I will walk whenever I can.
5) I will go back to proteins, fruits and veggies.
6) I will stare at the ugly truth..."I need to be true to myself."

The meetings with the foreign counterparts went well. This is assessment week (supposedly) so I will find out how I am doing at work for the annual review. Anyway, I have felt distracted this month. Time for me to gain focus and start back down.
