Hmmm...I'm almost afraid to hope that this plateau is over and that I'm going to consistently lose again. My lowest was 189, I'm 192.2 today. I hope so, I really like eating this way (LCHF). I'm not hungry until it's time to eat, I know that getting more calories is probably better for me than the starvation I was doing, and when I go out or travel, it's very easy to stick to.

I went out to dinner last night with my mom, and they put a big hunk of sourdough bread and butter on the table. My weakness. A little breeze blew a whiff of the sourdough my way. I had a moment, thought "just a corner with a lot of butter" but the moment passed and I passed on the bread.

I have an overwhelming desire to reach my weight goal. That is what keeps me going. After dinner, mom and I went to Ross, and I bought three dresses. I've been dating a lot, and need clothes for that. I was really glad I didn't eat the bread. I've never worn dresses like this before, close fitting and not trying to cover myself up.

GREAT job passing up the bread - I know it is great to feel in control.

I'll bet you look great in your new dresses. Passing up that bread; you turned a weakness into a strength ; excellent! My neighbor brought over some hot buttermilk biscuits (she was trying out a new recipe) that smelled buttery delicious. I did pinch off a tiny piece to try, but left the rest for my partner.

I have been following you for awhile and think you are doing amazing! I looked at your last picture and think "why the heck does SHE need to diet" I know from experience that the Atkins way of life does work. In 1977 I went from 200 to 140 in less than a year. I was much younger and did not have hormonal issues, but his original book says to lose you need to keep carbs at 20, it also says that red wine only has a trace of carbs. Yes, I have to have my wine to fall asleep at night (shuts my mind off) You are doing soooooo good please don't give up on yourself. If I could help, my suggestion would be to log your foods and really see the true totals. Also love the ketostix because as long as they stay purple you are burning fat and it will show up sometime. Hang in there ;)
