I'm definately feeling optimistic about my weight loss.

I'm down another 1.2 this week. :-)

When I was walking with my boyfriend Saturday evening, we decided to add small spurts of running. And it felt great! I love to run. Usually I end up with shin splints, but this time I didn't. Maybe because there was not too much running.

I would lovet to be a "runner", someone who wakes up early every morning, straps an ipod onto their arm, laces up, and runs around the neighborhood before showering and going to work.

Maybe I will be some day. I'll just have to work up to it.

For now, I'm one more pound closer to being out of the 170's, and it feels great.

I have dreams of being that kinda person as well im not great at running but i would love to get there oneday. good luck at getting out of the 170's you can definitely do this!

I bet you can be that runner you imagine. But since you are prone to shin splits, taking it slow and easy is definitely the best route. I can't be that daily runner anymore because of a knee injury and I get seriously envious of people I see running every day. Not that I was ever a marathon runner or anything, but I did always enjoy that time to myself. And that feeling post-run. Nothing like it. You'll get there!
