Woo hoo! Another low! I will update more later this morning! Amazing...
Morning Update:
The number one question on my mind is: How am I doing this? It looks like my body kicked it up a notch upon my return from London. I think probably due to doing housework in combo with better eating habits and a better overall feeling (thanks for being home)my body is responding positively. Additionally, I have started to sort of follow the "Primal" style of eating. That is, HCG had recommended a website that detailed the Primal diet. In many ways it looks like the Paleo diet. I had followed my own diet prior to this recommendation. Now, to me it makes sense for my own body. I crave proteins and don't miss the grains at all. Now it looks like my body is really revving up the weight loss engine and I am burning fat like its going out of business..
Thoughts for the Day:
1) Remember when...: Sometimes, when the diet gets tough I will reminisce about a time where I was comfortable in my own skin. I remember back to a time when my brother and I would run around and play hours and hours of football or baseball. We had an endless engine....I was in much better shape and I had no care in the world. I also reminisce about my HS years where my body was in great shape...those memories drive me forward and allow me to continue headlong with the diet. I close my eyes and just imagine what it will be like to get back to that physical state. If you can imagine it then you can do it. Just close your eyes and imagine it...
2) Ring loose: I have been focusing on the tell tale signs of weight loss like looser fitting shirts and slacks...but today I got another stark reminder...my wedding ring flew off my finger. I was reaching for my work bag when I heard a "clunk" type sound...I looked down and my wedding ring flew off my finger with no effort. I did not realize that when I lost weight I lost it all over. It was a subtle sign that yes, te diet is working to reduce me all over.
Song of the Day: Strut by Sheena Easton (great song...80's)
